Hey look, it's a post where Cath's not bitching about something. Mark this date, because it doesn't happen often. :P

Even rarer, I made art! Go me!! I've been trying to lure my muse back from her tropical vacation (she ran off with jujubinha's muse and the two of them are sipping adult beverages on the beach). Not the best art I've made, but I actually finished 2 pieces.

Have you seen the new scans of Jennifer Garner is Esquire UK? I got them from Jen Garner Fan There was one incredibly sexy pic of her that sent my girlcrush vibes soaring. I just had to make some art with it. So, I give you Temptation:

For a study in contrasts, I also finished the following using pics from the 13 Going on 30 Premiere. Jen just looked so luminous in the pic on the right, I had to do something with it. I also wanted to try to acheive the pale, almost white style that krisnreine and a few others do so well. The result? Star Quality:


I get bigger too.

Those are really gorgeous, Cath. I have absolutely no idea how you can create such beautiful scenes from photos - it's a real talent. I can't say that I like either one better, because they both have great qualities. I like the contrast of the two - one dark, one light, which both suit perfectly the subject. In Temptation, I seriously re-consider my orientation. Gorgeous. And somehow the whiteness of Star Quality elevates the greatness that is JG - pure and heavenly. Great job!

Heh. No one is more blind than me, so I understand the feeling. My problem is icons (and art) with teeny-tiny text. I press my face right next to the monitor and I still can't read it! LOL!

It's all about screen. Multiple layers of the pic itself on screen, then a gradient set to screen on top of it all.
