em_meredith speaks, I listen. Actually, I (once again) have a nasty cold and didn't really have any energy yesterday. So, while I was laying around yesterday, I expended what little mental energy I had working on this meme.
My rules are this: You attempt to give one example of a fannish word that makes you happy. You do one for each letter of the alphabet and you can't use names. No character names, no show/movie names. You can avoid episode names, too, if you're more creative than I.
This was much harder than I expected, especially since I don't have many pictures on my hard drive any more. Some of my answers are lame, but I think I should be given extra credit for working in the REM reference. *eg*

Actual thoughts:
I always forget how beautiful JG and MV are in the grasshopper-joke scene, and then...wham! The pretty is just overwhelming. I love that scene.
Hee! "Everybody Hurts." That's my favorite part of that episode.
The train station scene. OH, THE ANGST. Love!
Josh and Donna break my heart. Period. But then they sort of sew it back up again, so.
Oh, your OTPs. Nice choices, all.
"Waltz, Luke Can." Heh. One of my all-time favorite scenes, right there.
So, I'm scanning along, smiling, squeeing, whatever, and then there's "You're wearing my shirt, Gordon," and I'm right in the middle of SN right now, and it's killing me, I have such a huge crush on it. And Peter Krause is the center of my twitterpatedness, because I love that thing that he does with his face that I can't describe. Casey McCall, dude. (Although, I just finished disc 3, and...what happened? To Dana and Casey? She gives him her underwear, and then...nothing. WTF?)
And last but not least: the zipper. Inexplicable, funereal, and all, but: mmmmm.

I have to do this. This week, not tonight, as Monday is crazy night of omg too many shows, like Thursday.
I especially like "Y is for..." because I could not love Casey more than I do in that moment. Except for when he kisses Dana and walks out with the "YEAAH!" of triumph.

Sad to see you go, but thanks for the memories. I always considered you an adult amongst teenies in a crazy fandom and I really appreciated your help and advice on various things. We'll always have Alias.
