1. buffy:
   Since we don't have the WB, I discovered BTVS in reruns on FX while I was on maternity leave. I came late to the party, but oh, did I fall hard.
2. derek shepherd:
   Dr. McDreamy. My current TV boyfriend and #1 on my list of five. I think the man defies description. He's sooooo hot, but sweet and a little insecure all the while being brilliant and confident as a doctor. Love him!
3. fanfiction:
   Do I really need to explain this to anyone who has ever read my LJ? I am obsessed with fic.
4. jack bristow:
   I love me some Spy Daddy. Syd/Vaughn will always be my ship, but it was the Jack/Syd relationship that originally hooked me on this show.
5. jag fanfiction:
   Not so much anymore, but at one time, JAG was my main fandom.
6. lorelai gilmore:
   Probably my favorite character on TV right now. She's smart, funny, vulnerable and wonderfully flawed. I want to be her best friend.
7. meredith grey:
   I know it's popular to hate her, but I just can't do it. Dr. McDreamy will probably always be my favorite character, but Meredith is firmly at #2.
8. nora roberts:
   One of the two authors who's book release dates are marked on my calendar. I love that she's prolific and writes several books a year, and every one is amazing. It also doesn't hurt that she's created two of my favorite fictional characters: Eve and Roarke.
9. spike:
   As jujubinha keeps reminding me, Spuffy is the Sarkney of Buffy, but I don't care. I became a Spuffy shipper because I love Spike. He started out as comic relief but evolved into this wonderful character. Beautifully flawed, vulnerable, and loyal to a fault.
10. the west wing:
    I should say the real West Wing, not the imitation that's currently airing. The dialogue, the characters, the brilliant story lines. What's not to love?
