What's that? A fannish post?
I know, try to contain your shock. *g* After a very long nap and some food, I'm feeling almost human. God bless sick days. A nice side effect of riding the couch all day? Spamming the flist! I know you're excited.
Apparently, I disturbed
em_meredith's chi earlier, so this list shall be even numbered.
1. I watched two episodes of Dawson's Creek this morning. I tried when I borrowed
em_meredith's DVD's earlier this summer, but I just couldn't do it. This morning, I was too sick to really care what I was watching, and found myself sucked in. Dawson drove me insane, but that Pacey is a cutie. I may have to TiVo this one.
2. I have also watched much Buffy today, I've been TiVoing the reruns of season 6, and season 7 just started. I <3 Giles. Not the way I <3 Spike, but I forgot how much I enjoyed Giles. I'm also feeling the desire for Spuffy fic.
3. New sides for Grey's Anatomy came out yesterday, and one of the roles is freaking weird. There are pages for the role of a psychiatrist - a marriage counselor. His patients? Two surgeons named Sam and Dana. Who the hell are Sam and Dana? Their situation strangely mirrors Derek/Addison, but not really. I may post them here later to get other opinions. Definitely a WTF moment.
4. As for Alias... honestly? I feel...absolutely nothing. If anything, I'm relieved that I won't feel guilty not watching this fall. Michael Vartan is a big draw for me, but he's never been the only reason I watched. The Syd/Vaughn romance was my major motivation for watching, but I really did enjoy the show as a whole. I hung in through the horror of season 3, and while I was underwhelmed by season 4, it wasn't awful and I held out hope for season 5. However, if they're killing off Vaughn, there's just no way the story could ever be resolved to my satisfaction. With Weiss gone, Nadia gone, and the introduction of all sorts of new characters, this just isn't the show I fell in love with. So I'll spare myself and just not watch. I am a little sad that they've managed to royally fuck up a show that I used to adore, but I feel like I moved on a long time ago. And I have to laugh at all of the idiots (mostly at Celebrity Brain) that have concocted this huge Affleck/Garner/Olin conspiracy theory about the whole thing. I'll still be watching Lost, and God knows the McDreamy will keep me coming back for more GA. Maybe I'll even pick up a pilot. I'm strangely interested in Commander in Chief, if for no other reason than they do some of the filming here in Richmond.
I wonder if there's anything productive I could do this afternoon. Since I'm taking PTO today, there's no way I'm doing work. I have people I need to call, but the fact that I have no voice might make that a wee bit difficult. And I'm still feeling kind of gross. Maybe I'll just rest some more

I'm interested, but at the same time I'm like, "Huh? The what in the who now? The Accidental Tourist is the PRESIDENT? Plus, I've already got one kickass female Commander-in-Chief on my viewing schedule. Wouldn't want to overload.

The Accidental Tourist is the PRESIDENT?
Hee. As the mother of a small child, I just keep seeing Stuart Little's mom.

They are killing Vaughn? I hadn't heard that. I thought the departure Wrongda was going on about was Weiss. Withougt Weiss or Vaughn, tuning in just to see how they deal with JGs pregnancy isn't much of a draw anymore.
I'm strangely interested in Bones of all things, but it's on Fox and we all know how they like to screw things over.

They could have, but the situations aren't exactly the same. And I have never seen casting people be that sneaky to throw people off. I guess there's a first time for everything, though.

It's been confirmed by reliable spoiler sources, if not official ones. And Wrongda said she wasn't talking about Weiss.
I've actually thought about Bones, but I'm not sure I could see DB as anyone but Angel.

Giles is awesome. I met Anthony Stewart Head once at a bookstore when the Buffy novels came out (oh like, 5 years ago or so). He's a cool guy. I remeber how giddy I got one someone in his posse (for lack of better word. lol) asked him what time it was, and he said, "Half past nine" in that awesome British accent of his. hehe.

BWAHAHAHA! Which icon to use? TiVo? Pacey/Joey? Dawson? Crack dealing? Oh, the quandary!!
Do you need to borrow the DVDs again? I can lend them next month when you come up. *g*

A friend of mine saw either the pilot or read the script--I forget which--and was less than impressed. But, hmmm, it's been a while since I've had a show to stalk! ;)

Evil!

Yes, please. *bats eyelashes* They're somewhere in season 1 right now, so I figured I'd watch along for a while and fast forward through any Dawson/Joey stuff. I'll probably get the DVD's just in time. *g*

I think there's a whole lot of suck potential, but it has a little glimmer of hope, I think. Plus, the lure of the stalking potential is great. Especially if I can suck in an experienced stalker such as yourself. *eg*

And hey, Miss WB connected! Send a message up the food chain that Richmond needs a WB affiliate. *g* (just kidding)

My original TV boyfriend, past, present, and future. I adore him. I can't talk about the Jaybrams right now, I'm still too upset. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I did have students at the time who really loved both Buffy and Dawson, though, so we had some bonding moments over TV. *g*
Glad you're feeling a little better.
