Only me

Vacation got off to a wonderful start when we arrived, only to realize that hubby had failed to put J.'s suitcase into either of the cars. We had absolutely nothing for him except the clothes on his back. One trip to Walmart later (a 40 minute drive from our rental) and he's got enough to get him through, but my God what a headache.

And [livejournal.com profile] rotatingpies, North Carolina says "hi."

Glad things are okay (even with the lost suitcase). J must have been happy to get new stuff!

Gotta love when that happens - that happened to my parents when they went overseas last year - except it wasn't their fault it was the damn airlines - they were in Kuala Lumpar without any clothes except what they were wearing while their luggage was in Dublin or London and didn't meet up with them until they were back in Sydney.

Hope you have a great vacation!

Glad you guys made it there safe, even if you did have to buy J new stuff.

Ouch. At least it sounds like you were able to take care of it quickly. I'm glad you made it there okay and I hope the rest of your trip goes much more smoothly.

Awww, thanks. :-D Enjoy the beach!

But YIPES! on the suitcase situation. Glad you got that figured out pretty quickly.

Bwahaha! What a husband thing to do! Oh well, as long as he didn't try to turn it around on you (also a very husband thing to do unfortunately...).

Hopefully, since your there with his 'rents, they'll spoil J rotten all week with new clothes to make up for the oversight. ;)

Thank God for that Walmart though. It's one of the few oases of affordability in that place!

Good luck with the rest of the vacation!

I hope the rest of the stay continues without incident. *sheesh* I can so easily envision what that conversation would have been like between Hubby and I. Eeek!
