Smut for Ju
My
jujubinha is asking for pre-S3 smut, and since I miss her so much (even though we chatted last night!! Yay!!), I'm reccing one for her. I was going to just reply in her journal, but I thought others might like to see an acutal Alias rec as well. There's been sooooooo little good new fic, and almost no good new smut fic (which reminds me, if you're not reading Phoenix by Lady M, why not?).
To Serve One's Country is a WIP by Avenue47. It's S/V (naturally), and is kind of hard to describe. It starts immediately pre-series, and well, just read the author's summary:
Agent Sydney Bristow thinks she is serving her country, Agent Michael Vaughn knows he is serving his. What will happen when each is sent on a mission to intercept the other?
It's quite an interesting concept, and it's why I decided to delve in to this unknown-to-me author. It's not Chronos or Playback, but the writing is fairly tight (if a bit purple when it comes to the smut), the plot is sound, and she's captured accurate characterizations of Vaughn, Syd, Jack and Weiss. I'm finding it very entertaining, and the smut is HOT.

And word on Laura's Phoenix. It truly rocks.
