As a person that spent her twenties either in school, or wandering the country in search of her latest job/campaign, I happen to like my thirties better. Do I have the hubby and fab kid like you? Nope, but I am settled, in a place I own. Isn't that the best? With a job that I really like, even if it gets monotonouos at times. But isn't that life?
Somehow I like the narrowing of my horizans to an extent. I know better who I am, not just, this is who I could be. Which for me is a positive trade off.
I think for me the thirties have meant acceptance of who I am and what I want. Once I figured that out, and dealt with it, it was freeing. Because while I'm not going to do certian things, I am doing things I like and enjoy. Those possibilities I like. They're just different.
