Yesterday was my long day. The last Tuesday of every month, I have a 7pm work meeting. It actually finished somewhat early, and I got home around 8:30. Hubby was cleaning the garage when I pulled up, and told me he tried to call me on my desk phone but didn't get an answer (of course, I was in a meeting). When I asked what he wanted, he sheepishly replied "I was gonna see if you'd stop at Target and get LoTR for me." So what did Cath, the most wonderful wife in the world do? Get back in the car and head to Best Buy to get it for him. This from a person who didn't make it through the 1st movie because I was bored to tears. Awwwww. I was thinking I was getting some karma points up the wazoo. Particularly after his behavior this past weekend.
Except the idiot at Best Buy handed me the ORIGINAL LoTR, and not the latest one. I didn't notice. Hubby didn't notice until AFTER he took all the wrapping off. So, we are now the proud owners of a 2nd version of "Fellowship," and hubby still had to go to the store himself. *facepalm*
For those who are following the on-going saga of J.'s potty training - yesterday was day #2 with absolutely no accidents. Go little J.!!!
